Holy Stone F181W RC Drone Frequently Asked Questions

The LED lightson the drone are flashing, but the drone is not responding.
1. Insufficient battery power
   Fully charge the battery.
2. Transmitter is not connected to the drone
    Turn off the drone and trans-mitter, then, reconnect them by turning them on again.
3. Drone landing position is not balanced.
    Place the drone on a level sur-face when pairing.
4. Drone cannot be paired be-cause the drone has been on for a long period of time
    Turn off the drone and trans-mitter, then, turn them on again to pairing.

The propellers spin, but the dr-one doesn't fiy.
1. Insufficient battery power.
    Fully charge the battery.
2. Propellers not installed in the correct orientation.
    Check the letter "A"and"B"which printed on the propellers correspond to the diagram onpage 3 of this manual.
3. Damaged propellers
    Replace old propellers with new ones
4. Something caught in the propellers or gears.
    Ensure gears and propellers are clear and that there is nothing caught in them.

The drone does not fly properly after a crash.
1. Propellers are not installed in the correct positions.
    Check the propeller order.
2. Damaged propellers.
    Replace propellers with newones
3. The gyro has lost calibration.
    Reset the gyro. Press trim butt-ons to fine tune the direction.
4. Propellers have hit the prop-eller guard.
    Make sure the propellers workwell.
5. Wire or circuit board broken.
    Replace the circuit board.
6. Motors burnt out.
    Replace the motors.

One Key Return button doesn't work properly.
1. Propellers are not installed in the correct positions.
   Check the propeller order.
2. Damaged propellers.
    Replace propellers with newones.
3. The gyro has lost calibration.
    Reset the gyro. Press trim butt-ons to fine tune the direction.
4. Propellers have hit the propeller guard.
    Make sure the propellers work well.
5. Wire or circuit board broken.
    Replace the circuit board.
6. Motors burnt out.
    Replace the motors.

Photo or Vide doesn't work properly.
1. Insufficient battery power.
    Fully charge battery or use new battery.
2. The camera is broken.
    Replace the camera.
3. TF card is full.
    Remove files from TF card, or use and empty TF card.

Image can't be displayed on computer.
1. Media player does not support the file format.
    Try new media player( such as VLC Media Player).
2. Video is not successfully recorded.
    Press video button second time to stop the video and save the file.
