the differential is lockable, you can drive it open or lock it with a cross screwdriver
Locked Is good, but how does it work unlocked? Does the car run fine with the differential unlocked? Have you tried unlocked?
Unlocked it will free spin so it will not drive the car. You can unlock either front for rear wheel drive or rear for front wheel drive. However, unlocking both would result in no wheel drive.

THEY DONT FIT THE K989, THERE SMALLER AND DOG BONES WONT FIT, THERE AROUND 30MM WHILE ORIGINAL IS AROUND 35 TO 40MM. THEY WANT MAD MONEY FOR BIGGER DOG BONES.
This differential is the upgraded part,you need to upgrade longer dogbone to fit and work
