No this is the brushless version without the GPS

What is that car battery slot width and length?
Depends there are hard case ones which fit perfect. If you can dremel the holder off you can fit a lot of batteries

Does anyone know if the ESC can be programmed?
No idea sorry there is no programing card included

What transmitter is needed, can a Spektrum unit be bound to this Car ?
The receiver is separate, set up one of the spectrum then it goes.

I have this car and am having slow response on throttle and reverse as well as some cogging since the first couple of runs and haven't changed anything on the car , would anybody have any idea's or suggestions as to what might be causing this behaviour ?
change the receiver and oil the diffs

will the MJX H16H body fit on the 16208? I just prefer how it looks
I don’t think so because they attach to the chassis differently ….the 16209 doesn’t use “ clips “ like the 16208
